Annual Members Meeting March 25th
The Capital Crew Boosters Club Annual Members Meeting is on Saturday, March 25 in the upstairs classroom at the Aquatic Center, after League Race #4 is finished. Two important items are on the agenda: Board member elections and a vote on a proposed revision to the bylaws.
Board positions last for two years. There are three Board positions ending this year.
We will continue to collect names of individuals interested in serving on the 2017-2018 Board. If you are interested or have any questions, please talk to me at the Logo Wear tent during League Race #3 or contact me via email at [email protected].
Once the 2017-2018 CCBC Board is intact, the Board members will then allocate the Officer positions among themselves.
Also on the ballot is an expansion of member voting privileges by allowing general proxy votes at the Annual Members Meeting. This change to the bylaws will allow voting even when the designated family Boosters’ member is not able to attend the meeting.
Please be sure to join us at the Annual Members Meeting. We need at least 20 votes for a quorum. Although this seems like a small number, last year we struggled to meet it.
I look forward to seeing you at the brief Annual Members Meeting after League Race #4 and right before Senior Day and our Boat Dedication.
