Boosters and Parent Involvement
Capital Crew Boosters Club is a volunteer parent-run organization with many opportunities for involvement, with varying degrees of responsibility. There are seven Board member positions, up to fifteen Coordinator positions, and hundreds of one-day volunteer shifts.
Board members are elected to a two-year term by the members at the Annual Member Meeting in April. The six elected Board members than appoint a seventh board member. The Board members then assume the Officer positions for the Boosters Club.
The Coordinator positions may be for a job that lasts all season long or they may be for an event that only requires a couple of months’ attention.
One-day volunteer shifts are available for all events and may include preparing and serving food for the athletes at home or away events, helping to sell logo merchandise at events, helping with social events, or other miscellaneous projects.
